Amazing Ribeye

This was steak #2 of our order. This steak was amazing!! You know you are in for something special before even opening the cryovac seal. The marbling on this steak is indicative of the quality you are getting. Sexy would be a good word that comes to mind. The dry age is clear as day once the package is open. Cooked our steak rare-mid rare and it was bomb! Soft, tender, juicy, and packed with intense beefy flavor. I could go on and on but I'd rather you just find out for yourself. Treat yourself!

Surreal steak. As finance guys who savor sampling NYC best dry aged every chance we get, this steak blew the doors off. We sous vide it to 134f then hit it with blowtorch. The color was dark and rich, the fat had rendered to the point the steak would melt in your mouth. Truly supreme. Worth every penny.

I like dry aged beef and marbling but honestly can't say this was the best steak I've ever eaten. You could practically cut it with a fork and it definitely delivered on the dry age funk as I think this seemed more aged than any of my prior dry aged experiences including 90 day dry aged whole rib roasts. Maybe the sheer amount of the fine marbling amplified the dry aging flavor but in my opinion the result was a little much. The steak attacked my manliness as I struggled to consume even 8oz. It almost seemed like a waste because I know the american wagyu is amazing without dry aging and I have had better (non wagyu) DeBragga dry aged ribeye. In my opinion if you want to experience the best of American wagyu and dry-aged beef you should order two separate steaks.

I reviewed this cut a year ago. I will say again, this is the finest steak I have ever had in my life. Nothing compares to it. It is head and shoulders above everything else.

Made this as an appetizer for Xmas dinner. Just blew the doors off of our family. A rich deep beef with a distinct nutty almost walnut richness. Literally, melts in your mouth. Pan seared in a cast iron pan, preheated in the oven to 500 degrees, then cooked on the stove top. Tons of smoke, but well worth it.

If you want the best, this would my first choice. Sumptuous, rich, and unique.

The best steak I have ever had in my entire life. Nothing compares to it.
I cut a piece of fat off the raw steak and melted it in a hot cast iron pan. I then pan seared the steak in its own fat until cooked medium rare. It was the best steak I have ever cooked at home and perhaps the best steak I've ever eaten -period.

We enjoyed these so much. Best steaks we've ever had! We seared them in a cast iron skillet and then put them in the oven to finish cooking. They were melt in your mouth delicious! Flavorful and incredibly tender.
