Our birds are raised on family farms in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. This special breed is a slow-growing species, all vegetarian-fed and never ever given antibiotics or added hormones.
The Heirloom Bronze turkey is that special bird for that Special Thanksgiving.
What Size Turkey Do I Need? DeBragga recommends that you estimate 1 pound per person to determine the size of the turkey you will need. If you would like to have leftovers, then plan on at least 1.5 pounds per person.
Cooking your DeBragga turkey: We recommend use of a meat themometer, instant-read or digital, when gauging doneness. Keep in mind that depending on several factors, (size, of bird, recipe variations, and method of cooking) that time and temperature will vary.
