Coffee and Cocoa Rub

Deeply flavored dry rub brimming with umami. Use it on anything you smoke, grill or roast

Ingredients

2 T EACH: Instant Espresso Coffee, Cocoa Powder, Garlic Powder, Smoked Paprika, Light Brown Sugar
1 T EACH: Kosher Salt, Black Pepper, Onio Powder, Chili Powder

Directions

Mix everything in a bowl and mix thoroughly, breaking up the lumps.
If you wish, you can sift the rub through a fine sieve.
Store for 2 months in a container in your pantry.
