Raised exclusively for the holidays, DeBragga’s heritage breed capons come from the same grower as our heritage breed chickens, so you know they will be very flavorful. They are air chilled for best results, then wrapped in paper to ensure a fresh and delicious bird that will roast to a crispy, juicy turn. DeBragga’s holiday capon features full, plump breast meat for white meat lovers. These capons are best when roasted, ideally with truffle butter stuffed liberally under the skin (truffle butter included). You can also poach this 5-6lb bird, and if you insert slices of real truffle under the skin, you will have a meal to remember. Either way, this festive bird is the quintessential Chicken experience.
