Rub ribs with a simple spice blend, roast, rest, broil and serve…these tender apple fed lamb spare ribs are delicious!
blend of favorite dried herbs, spices and garlic (1 tsp each), salt and pepper to taste
two racks lamb spare ribs
optional: 1 jar prepared marinade or sauce
pre heat oven to 300
rub ribs with blend of dried herbs, spices and garlic. salt and pepper too.
wrap in aluminum foil
Place prepared spare ribs into a roasting pan and roast in oven about 2 hours. Remove from oven and let sit at room temperature for thirty minutes (you could do this the night before but if you do , remove the roasted ribs from the refrigerator an hour before the next step – broiling – outlined below).
Remove spare ribs from foil and brush on your favorite marinade or sauce if you want and then put on a rack and put under the broiler for a few minutes. Watch them so they don’t burn, but get a bit crispy.
Slice between the ribs and serve.
