The Finger Lakes and Western Catskill region of Upstate New York constitute an idyllic location to produce exquisite Grassfed beef. With a climate that is tempered in summer and winter by the effects of its lakes and rivers, cattle on these family farms are able to graze on quality pasture for eight months per year. Additional forage and baleage is harvested from these same farms.
Our collection of farms is dedicated to humanely raising Angus/Hereford cross cattle, as nature intended, without added hormones, without antibiotics, and without grain. This requires dedication and patience as the animals are allowed to reach maturity slowly (24-28 months), developing a minerally rich taste derived from lean muscle rather than fat.
