Our hogs are raised on 300 family farms in Iowa, the way hogs used to be raised when pork was not engineered to be ‘the other lean white meat,’ like chicken. Our Naturally Raised pork is raised outdoors with access to fresh air and sunshine, not indoors, in factory buildings like over 99% of producers of pork are doing today. Our Naturally Raised hogsare farrowed outdoors in straw filled birthing huts. After weaning, they are fed nothing but pure grain and water. NO antibiotics, NO hormones, and NO artificial ingredients or animal by-product feeds. Just pure grain and water. This results in a pork that is beautifully marbled and has a succulent, sweet taste like your grandparents remember. There really is a difference. It costs a bit more, because we pay our farmers more to raise it the right way, Naturally!
